Founded By A Pioneer
Mt. Lemmon Realty was founded in 1941 by Tony Zimmerman. A Jayhawker that moved to Blue, Arizona to take up teaching. Tony eventually made his way to Tucson and shortly after found majestic Mt. Lemmon. Here he owned and ran the Mt. Lemmon Inn as well as the local sawmill, he built cabins, and started Mt. Lemmon Realty. Legend has it he built our office in a month to house the line workers who would bring power to the mountain.
